Holmes was built in 2011 and opened by Philip Schofield. The boarding house is able to accommodate 50 guests with a mixture of single and double rooms all with en-suite. Situated nearby the Morgan Sports Centre and next to the new Sixth Form Centre. Holmes has a platform lift for disabled access and includes one disabled en-suite bedroom.
Queen Anne’s has four fantastic boarding houses set amongst the 35 acre campus, with the ability to accommodate around 220 students in total.
With brilliant transport links to Reading town centre and direct trains to London, Queen Anne’s is the perfect venue for international as well as UK-based residential stays during the school holidays.
Each boarding house is equipped with its own kitchen and laundry facilities and lounging area.
We are also able to provide catering onsite with all residential lettings.
Please note that our residential lets prove to be very popular during the summer months so please do book in advance.
Maddock is able to accommodate 70 guests with a mixture of single, double and triple capacity rooms and has shared facilities throughout. Opened by Dame Kelly Holmes in September 2012 this boarding house is situated next to Holmes house and the new Sixth Form Centre. Maddock also has a platform lift for disabled access and includes one disabled en-suite bedroom.
Wilkins is the third of the three boarding houses situated on the main campus situated next to Maddock. Wilkins has accommodation for 60 with a mixture of single, double and triple capacity rooms with shared facilities throughout.
Michell is the only boarding house situated at the far end of the campus set amongst beautiful gardens. This boarding house is near to the swimming pool and tennis courts, perfect for the more active guest. Michell house has accommodation for 40 with single and double rooms and shared facilities throughout.
